I've never been a one for long holidays, I'm not sure exactly why, but I think it's because when I'm away for too long I feel like I'm achieving nothing in life. I have a goal and I'm going to get to it. I just need to keep walking. Being in Italy's really nice. The food's nice, the architectures nice and the people are nice.
But doing nothing actually feels odd for me. I'm always doing something. It's such a surreal feeling for me just doing nothing. It's nice in a way, but I can easily see how this could become a bad habit. I think I'd end up blinking and being 60 wondering why I never reached my goal or came close to it.
I was actually quite surprised to see how the Italians live their life. So chill, so relaxed so care free. What an interesting place!
